What is Global Search?

Global Search is your fastest way to find anything on the Nexus ReGen platform. Whether you're looking for a specific material, location, supplier, project, or listing, Global Search scans the entire platform to bring you relevant results instantly.

How to access Global Search

Keyboard shortcut: Press Cmd + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows) from anywhere on the platform to instantly open the search bar.

Search bar: Click the search bar at the top of your dashboard.

What can you search for?

Global Search works across the entire Nexus Materials Exchange, helping you find:

  • Materials – Search by material type (e.g., "6F5", "Topsoil", "Type 1")

  • Locations – Find projects, suppliers, or listings near a specific place

  • Companies – Discover suppliers, hauliers, or other service providers

  • Active listings – Browse import requirements, export opportunities, and jobs

  • Your projects – Quickly jump to any of your saved projects

Tips for better search results

  • Be specific: "Type 1 aggregate London" will give you more targeted results than just "aggregate"

  • Use location names: Add a town, postcode, or region to filter geographically

  • Try different terms: If you don't find what you need, try alternative material names or classifications

Need more advanced filtering?

For detailed filtering by distance, material properties, or compliance criteria, use the Map View or AI Smart-Matching tool, which can find matches based on geography, waste codes, sustainability credentials, and more.
